BullMoose Sale Scheduler ("the App") is operated by BullMoose ("we," "us," "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when merchants install and use the App on Shopify.
The App is designed to help merchants schedule and manage product price changes within their Shopify store.
2. Information we collect
When a merchant installs the App, we collect the following information via Shopify's OAuth process:
Store information
- Store domain (e.g. example.myshopify.com)
- Shopify plan name
- Access token (used to interact with the Shopify API)
Session information
- Authentication session data
- User account information provided by Shopify (if applicable), such as name, email, and account role
App data
When merchants use the App, we store:
- Scheduled sale configurations
- Selected products or collections for sales
- Discount type and values
- Sale status
- Execution logs and failure logs (if applicable)
We do not collect customer data from a merchant's store unless required to execute core app functionality.
3. How we use information
We use collected information solely to:
- Authenticate merchants
- Execute scheduled price changes
- Restore original pricing after a sale ends
- Provide app functionality and reliability
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Improve app performance and stability
We do not use merchant data for advertising or profiling.
4. Data storage
All data is stored securely using:
- Encrypted database infrastructure
- Secure cloud hosting providers
- Environment-based secret management
Access tokens and sensitive credentials are stored securely and are not exposed publicly.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share merchant data with third parties. We may share data only:
- When required by law
- To comply with legal obligations
- To protect the rights and safety of BullMoose or its users
Infrastructure providers (e.g. hosting or database services) may process data strictly to operate the App.
6. Data retention
We retain merchant data for as long as the App is installed. If a merchant uninstalls the App:
- Access tokens are invalidated
- Store data is deleted within a reasonable timeframe unless required for legal or accounting purposes
Merchants may request deletion of their data at any time.
7. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data against:
- Unauthorized access
- Alteration
- Disclosure
- Destruction
However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Merchant rights
Merchants may:
- Request access to stored data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of their data
