  1. Define the end moment up front. Set the finish time when you create the sale, not as an afterthought on the day.
  2. Restore original prices, not guesses. The tool should remember each product's pre-sale price and put it back exactly, rather than you re-typing it.
  3. Clear compare-at prices. Otherwise products keep showing a struck-through "was" price and look permanently discounted.
  4. Confirm it reverted. A good scheduler logs the change so you can see the sale closed cleanly.
